Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me. "I am a C, I am a CH, I am a CHRISTIAN and I have
CHRIST in my HEART and I will LIVE ETERNALLY." This was a favorite song as a child growing up. Thank
you to those of you who sang along with it. God loves you and so do I. Pastor Cross you are remembered
and missed.
I first started spinning records in the late 80's as a sophomore at a local high school in Springfield, IL. I was
working at Bauer's Opera House and Restaurant busing tables. One late evening/ early morning, while
waiting for my ride home, I was thrown into a position of spinning my first album. I had watched how this was
done many times, but never was in the spotlight. Well, it was just such a unique feeling, having everyone
hinge on my choices. The Disc Jockey fever had caught me. I enjoyed serving my country in the United
States Naval Seabees for 8 years and still was able to play for military events, balls and receptions. I
enjoyed many years working for other companies, bars and clubs. Learning how to set up and use the
equipment was easy for me. I moved from albums to cassette, compact discs and now am making the move
to computers. In 2003, I branched out on my own and started specializing, only doing wedding receptions.
Now in 2008, I have become one of Central and Downstate Illinois most requested wedding DJ's. After
proper training and years of experience, one of my strongest talents is reading crowds. I am following my
father and my older brother into the DJ industry. My dad was a DJ back in the 60's and was known to have
the largest 45 collection in the area. My brother (who is much older) was a sought after DJ in the 80's. I have
taken over the family business and have converted 100,000 + songs to CD.
I was married on the sandy beaches of Hilton Head Island, followed with a Springfield "princess" tent
reception. I have four beautiful children and a very understanding wife. I enjoy knowing my children listen to
music that I actually listen to and can edit. I like to vacation to Disney World and the beaches of any island.
I like to play cards, watch pro basketball, baseball and football. As long as I have hair on top, I will love to
ride in convertible Mustangs. I like to listen to Jimmy Buffett and many other artists. I try to live life to the
fullest.
It is my pleasure to share in your event and help in any way possible to make your dreams become a reality.
Entertaining and creating memories with music is in my history and with your continued support, I will be a
Professional Wedding Disc Jockey for many more years to come. I know we will see each other at your
